Yesterday’s grocery distribution was a success. Students who attended were very grateful for the groceries provided and shared that they really appreciated the initiative and the support being offered to students.
The feedback was incredibly positive. Students especially appreciated the fresh vegetables, plantain, bread, and meat, and many mentioned that they would like to see more grocery distributions like this in the future. One of the main suggestions was to host future distributions closer to campus to make them easier and more accessible for students to attend.

Overall, the event showed that there is both a need for and an appreciation of initiatives like this. Moving forward, we would like to continue hosting grocery distributions, improve accessibility by considering locations closer to campus, and continue providing a good variety of useful grocery items based on the feedback we received.
A big thank you to Off the Grid youth, Abe and Sammi for helping make the distribution possible. The students were genuinely thankful, and it was great to see the initiative have a positive impact.
