We are grateful for companies like Boston Pizza that support local charities and not for profits. Last night, two of our youth raised $280 in two hours. Our youth gain experience, confidence and communication skills while raising money for a good cause doing this.
Interacting with guests at the end of the day when they are at a restaurant to eat requires tact. The two youth we had last night were able to sit down and draw out a plan on how to make the best of the night. They came up with the conclusion that they would go and talk to diners after they place their order and are more relaxed.
I am thankful for the support we receive from Boston Pizza and staff. Grateful for those who donated their hard earned money for our children and youth. We will back at Boston Pizza on February 3rd for another round of fundraising. See y’all there.
