Greatness does not just happen, greatness is something we intentionally have to work on, and letting up can never be an option. Don’t get me wrong, discouragement will creep in, but quitting is not part of the equation. Slowing down might be an option but throwing in the towel will not make the journey worthwhile.

Greatness will be tested.
The measure of greatness will be determined through the “fires” of life we walk through. There’s no one who has done anything worth mentioning who hasn’t gone through the fire. We hear it said a lot that fire is a purifier. I remember reading somewhere that some jewellers use a lighter to test precious stone. Fake diamonds will crack while real diamonds will withstand the heat though damage can occur. This right here is a perfect analogy of how that road to greatness can be, there will be testing, and NO, there’s no way to escape it as it is part of the process. This process will weed out the real from the fake.

Greatness will bring the fake love out of the woodwork
The real will recognize the fake and know how to build boundaries. It might take a while to figure out who is for you and who is there for the clout but once you know, you know. Many will try to rush the journey to greatness by attaching themselves to those who have motion. It can be difficult to know who is there to cheer you on and who is there for personal gain. Most are there for what they can get from those who are great, they will use them until there’s no more need for them. The realization of being used can knock even the best of them off of their game and that’s why it’s important to go through the fire. Going through the fire will help with the understanding that the fake can never handle what you went through or go through.

“I am the greatest. I said that even before I knew I was,” Muhammad Ali
Is greatness a destination or a long life journey? Muhammad Ali said that he was the greatest but he trained hard to keep that title of greatness alive. Being complacent will knock us off that frequency.
Do your thing, keep moving. The journey might get lonely but focus on the GOAL. Motion is of great importance and for the real, quitting is not in their vocabulary because they know it will not be in their best interest.
UNTIL NEXT TIME
