It’s almost Saturday and we all know what JUNE 21 is bringing forth, Olam‘s art show. I am sure his parents are excited to see their son’s art on display. I’m DOUBLY sure that Olam is happy to show his art to the world, this kid is eighteen years old by the way. For many of us, there is nothing more we want than to bring pride to our family name, we want to make our parents proud of our work and contributions. This is great, it’s beautiful but deep down I know that there is a sense of pride in a teen accomplishing something that is daunting, so at the end of the day, be proud of yourself.

 

Y’all already know that we will have Airdrie city councillor Heather Spearman in attendance and a few other special guests, I ain’t gon’ front the most honourable guest we will have is YOU. I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. 

 

As OG’s we present opportunities to our youngins, it’s up to the young cats to grab ahold of the opportunities and do what they have to do. Some will prosper and unfortunately, some will crumble under the weight of the opportunities. I ain’t gon’ keep going but I can’t wait for Saturday. Y’all already know, we outside.
