A few of the boys did an eyewear modelling gig on January 17, I am so proud of them. They did an excellent job of showcasing their modelling skills and the photographer was impressed with their willingness to work under pressure. This gig was done for a local eyecare company and I’m thankful that they trusted us with their brand.

I love it when teens try different things. I feel it’s important for young minds to be exposed to different career opportunities even if it be part time for when they start university or college.

A lot of times as parents we can get lost in having our kids be in career fields that we feel are “safe” or have a future in our eyes but, the truth is, times have change. There are so many choices that this younger generation has and we have to allow them to explore and move with the times.

Building a resume in different fields can show versatility in the workplace. The experience our boys had on Saturday will help them work under pressure and adapt to different conditions.

Some of these opportunities will help students make a lot of money in a short space of time leaving them with ample opportunities to work on their school projects.
I wanna thank Brella Vida for opening their doors to us. We were able to use their building for our photoshoot. Big shoutout to Shannon Wiebe for doing all the behind the scenes work, you are a real one.
Thank you for reading this article, have a great week.
